Frequently asked questions

1. Are the competitions restricted only to students or professionals?
- No, competitions are open to all architects, designers or thinkers who want to show the world their solution to the issues we propose .

 

2. Is there any age restriction?
- Participants must be at least 18 years old. 

3. How should I submit my project?

- Once you are registered to join the competition you can submit it here:

www.projectearth2.org/submissions

4. Is my team able to submit more than one proposal?
- You are free to submit more than one proposal as long as you register each one separately and pay its correspondent fee.

5. Can we upload more than one board in the proposal?
- Each team must upload only one (1) board, size A1 (594x841  mm / 23.4 x 33,1 in) either landscape or portrait. If a team submits more than one board only the first one will be sent to the jury.

6. I am not an architect, can I participate?
- Yes! People from other disciplines can also participate, such as engineers, philosophers, sociologists, photographers, etc.  

7. Is the registration code the number to be put in the panels?

- Yes, it is. It has 5 digits. (Ex. 00000 or #00000). It is the Order Number that you will receive in the confirmation email after paying the fee to join the competition. Check your spam folder if you did not receive it.

8. Can we include more members in the team once the registration fee has been paid?

- Yes, at the time of submitting your proposal, you will be asked for the name of the definite participants.

9. How the files should be uploaded for the competition?

- We will send you a document with the instructions and the password to access the upload platform once you have paid the fee for the inscription.

10. I paid the fee for the registration but I did not receive the document with the instructions.

11. What language should be used for all information submitted for the competition?

- All information submitted by participants must be in English
