Comments of the jury:

- The project is pragmatic not necessarily innovative in term of concept but relatively feasible due to its simplicity. It is based on a real case and analyze the various scale, macro meso and micro. The souk act as a spatial dimension to build dialogue between two communities which historically have been challenged in their dialogue. Hence it would be relevant how the functions also help to re-build the dialogue aside from the space. The souk should not be seeing as a completion rather as an opportunity. The sense of nostalgia concept could be expanded further to see its impact and adding value while containing the trauma elements which it can raise especially in children.

- Addresses progressive development but - what happens when the modules are full?

- Strong design concept to emphasize a sense of belonging for the Syrians in order to encourage integration. Interesting and diverse module typologies.
